From mid-October to mid-November, polar bears congregate near Churchill to wait for the sea ice to form. It’s been months since they’ve consumed a seal, and they are eager to disperse out onto the sea ice for the next big meal. These bears are tolerant of human activity. With a safe distance, it allows for amazing photographic opportunities.

Bear season starts late September to the end of November. We only want to guide our customers in the peak time to maximize the chances to see the Bears and go home with the best experiences.
Locations are extreme important for spotting wildlife. Churchill is Manitoba's largest wildlife management area(WMA). It protects some of our most impressive wildlife habitat. We’re one of the few bear guides permitted to enter the WMA.
Everyone is welcome to join our tour, not only for photographers. We mainly focus on searching wildlife, find you the best viewing angles and stay much longer time when wildlife is sighted
We are encouraging our guests to bring their own reusable water bottle or travel mug that can be filled with drinks (water, coffee or tea). We try our best to limit plastic usage, including bags and water bottles.

We are able to get out of the vehicle and photograph polar bears while on foot. This gives us many compositional options to create a more intimate perspective.
We do our best to serve you better, and we are happy to drop you off and pick you up at the restaurant or stores when we are not out in the field.
No worries! There are several places, including the airport and
Northern Studies Centre, where we can stop to use the washroom when we’re out in the field.
We will stop the vehicle when we spot ANY wildlife, often we are lucky to see the arctic fox, silver fox, red or cross fox, ptarmigans, arctic hares, wolves and even wolverines
